Part 1: The 20's and 30's
We meet three our four gods and get our first look at thier lives in America. From the roaring 20's in the Harlem Speakeasies to the grim times of the 1930's, we follow their personal plights, their love of music and integration, their godly ambitions, join us for this intense, emotional, and enlightening session.
Part 2: The 60's and 70's
America has changed, and so have our gods. Buna, Lord of Death, joins Ajath, Anasi, and Hathor as we explore the state of Black America during the disco era.
Part 3: The 80's and 90's
Our four sibling gods continue their trek through time. The disco era gives way to the 80's, the birth of hip-hop, and the AIDS crisis. How are our gods holdig up after all these years?
Part 4: The 2000's and Beyond
Our gods step into the present day and beyond in the final episode of Body & Soul: A Soundtrack to See Forever To. Our gods reflect on the present day and look towareds teh future as we take one last look at the lives and choices of Anansi, Ajath, Hathor, and Buna.
